One Mama Duck

Crafting my way through life - one adventure at a time.

Hi! I'm LisaDV. Thanks for stopping by. This is my life, crazy and chaotic most of the time, and I wouldn't change a thing.

WOYWW 240

It's been a long time since I've played along with What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. And I've decided to join with my brand new blog.  We moved to our work in progress home in Michigan in May of last year, a 100 year old farm house that we're trying to refurbish.  But we decided to close up the house for the coldest months. Why pay two heat bills, I say. We are also hoping to go through and unclutter this house and put it up for sale this year. But instead of working on that, I am working on a project life kit swap that I'm participating in over at 2peas.  This is the start of the Valentine cards. I have sewing, stamping, and some more cutting to do.

I'm going to cut "love" on the silhouette out of one of those red cardstock's.  I just can't decide between the darker or the true red.  Which do you think would look better?

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

  2. Hi, Lisa! Your project looks great. I would use whichever red best matches the red in the papers . . . it's a bit hard to tell in the picture, but maybe the darker one? Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting. ~ Laura #73

  3. hard decision... I think I'd choose the darker... but as mentioned before, the real thing is always a bit different from screen colors.
    Anyway - Happy woyww! :)

  4. Hi Lisa
I love the idea of doing up an old farmhouse and I am sure it will be stunning when you have finished it and you and your family are living in it.
Those are pretty papers on your desk today
Have a great WOYWW today and enjoy the rest of your week

  6. I think your priorities are in order but then again I've been known to be weird. Crafting before all else! You've got some good looking Valentine's stuff there to play with.

  7. Thanks for stopping by, I just recovered from Michigan State beating Ohio State in BB last night. I love college basketball Our Iowa State is still unbeaten. Your desk looks like an assembly line. So organized to get the projects done. Refurbishing can be fun, we are dealing with a 100 yr old Victorian home of my parents in a small town and would like to sell it. I've photos here if you are interested.
