One Mama Duck

Crafting my way through life - one adventure at a time.

Hi! I'm LisaDV. Thanks for stopping by. This is my life, crazy and chaotic most of the time, and I wouldn't change a thing.

It's Wednesday! Time to sneak a peak at everyone's desk.  The best part is you aren't going to be called a busy-body. You are actually encouraged to snoop! How great is that!?!  If you haven't played before, don't be shy, jump over to Jan's to link up this week. (Usually we're hosted by Julia, who we hope is recovering well after her surgery yesterday.)

OK, you want to see my desk.
Quite the mess, I know. A layout in progess on the bottom right a stack of bills and papers to be gone through. The working stack of papers and notions are on the left. In that mess you can also spy a bit of my ATCs.

These were my first EVER ATCs. I know they are rather simple as I got the hang of it. But they are quickly addicting!

I then made a shabby chic version to send to my "*" friend. I'll actually be mailing.

I actually have *Cindy A's, Kelly H's, and Lynne M's left to go out. Living in a small town, our post is only open a couple of hours a day, and with the holiday and our life schedules, Friday will be the first day for the errand.

Is it Cra-zy that I have already come up with a concept for next years swap???  Plus several others. I could see these little pieces taking over my life.  Good thing I really don't have any time. That's it for me. Off to see some desks.

  1. Woyww atc's are the only ones I make and I have to agree they can become quite addictive. I look back over the 6 years I have been swapping and I have such a wonderful collection. Have a lovely week.

  20. Went into Sutton yesterday to get my son some smart clothes for his work experience week in July so didn't get around to replying to any WOYWW posts at all! Your shabby Chic ATC is simply adorable, glad I could get a big piccy when I clicked on it too - delightful. Happy belated WOYWW BJ#32

re: you comment on my blog.. I have to be organized or I can't accomplish anything. Silly OCD!

  23. Oh Lisa - that really made me chuckle! The thought of you sitting there this weekend making next year's ATC!!! Good one, though - will save time next April.
Your ATCs are lovely - nothing too simple about them at all - well done.
Thanks for already visiting - sorry to be late coming round - hubby and I spent yesterday on the Wirral visiting with family - our grandson has to attend Clatterbridge in 2 weeks for radiotherapy, and yesterday was his pre-treatment appointment. The family's verdict was that the staff are great and it didn't feel like a hospital!
    Take care. God bless.
