Happy Monday!!! Sometimes I worry about having things to show on Monday. I was a bit worried on Saturday afternoon. Since I set aside every Monday to share what I've made through the weekend or end of the previous week, I've found it also acts as a catalyst to get me into the craft room when possible.
Saturday evening, I finally made it in for some layout fun. I've been working in kits this past month. When I had a collection I wanted to use on a photo, I put all of the photos I'd like to use with that collection in. This is the last photo and layout for a Dear Lizzy collection I was working with.
I love the chipboard & paper labels with the flowers in-between. I had sticker flowers there originally. When I went to photograph it the first time, one fell off and I couldn't find it. So I changed the flowers. I like them better. I like the butterfly with the flourish stamps. Not so crazy about the text stamped butterfly, or the vast amounts of white space on the butterfly cutfile notepad sheet. I think too much yellow is showing.
This started an Amy Tan collection.
I'm not displeased with this layout.I like all of the embellishments I do think I could have come up with a better double composition. I think individually both are fine. But it's done and ready for the album.
This finishes the Amy Tan collection. I really like how this one came out. It's very simple and working within the confines of the background paper.
Last year I only completed 39 pages for the WHOLE year. Today I shared 4 pages/3 layouts. This brings my total to 41 pages for this year! It's only May. Total happy dance!
Now, you can't say that didn't make you happy on a Monday!?
yes, it made me smile. Love your layouts also. yellow is a tough color for me.
