What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday
Last week, you found my desk a mess with me matching photos to papers and making page kits. I still had some left on my desk yesterday, but hadn't worked on them since last week. So the desk got topped with lots of other things during the week: my food journal and menu planner, dd newest prescription, some traveler notebook inserts. Then dd needed the ribbon boxes down and to use the big shot, so that got piled on top. Yesterday evening, upon realizing it was time to share my desk, I took the time to clean up the mess. So woyww is a motivational cleaning tool.I didn't stitch the photos together well, and I can't get high enough to get a full desk shot. Sorry.
This is what my desk looks like today. I have my OJ for vitamin C and to beat this cold I've got. Also, there is my glue gun, a set of Cocoa Daisy alpha stamps, a batch of scraps that need to be filed away, the scotch tape that my dd didn't put away, my newest stampendous hummingbird stamp and die (YAY), a printable that has just been hanging out on my desk for the last month, and 2 papers with photos and a printout of Scrap our Stash blogs current challenge to use on one of the said photos. Hoping to get both pages completed today. We'll see how the kids and I hold up with these colds, and my lack of quality sleep as ds had a rough night.
What's this all about? Visit the Stamping Ground and link up your own desk or to view more desk. It's always so much fun to see what else is going on everybody else's desk. It's also highly inspiring!
very cool...your desk looks very 'workable' and the hummingbird stamp...think I need one formy collection...
ReplyDeleteAaaaah... It is so nice to see a space that looks so much like mine...grin! Hope you beat that cold, spring colds are the WORST! Scrapbook Lynne WOYWW #43
ReplyDeleteI confess, Lisa, I had never thought of WOYWW as an inspirational tidy tool!! Glad it worked for you, though. You do sound like a lot goes on in your home... I trust the colds will soon be a great deal better, and sleep becomes sheer bliss each night.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

WOYWW never motivates me to tidy my desk....I think you're confused!! It must be your cold, am so sorry you're all feeling rough, gah, it is so horrid and such a waste of time. You remind me to get some more page kits done too.
ReplyDeleteYou have more space than I do - lol!! Mine is about MAYBE 8 x 10"? LOL!! Thanks for visiting my blog (Scraps of (my) Life)! YES, please use the technique I used for your ATC Swap! Have fun <3

ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. Hope you get the pages done that you want to work on. I always try to clean my desk a little before WOYWW however there is always a space to craft. I can't craft on top of a pile of other stuff lol.

I normally stand (carefully) on a chair to get an overhead shot of my workspace.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by and for your lovely comment.
Hope your cold gets better soon.
I have a step stool in my room to get to the top of the bookcases and pegboard with. Even with that I could not get the 4' long desk, well and see what was going to take. My 6' husband might be able to though, but I refuse to go there.
DeleteHello Lisa. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier. Sorry to hear that you are under the weather and hope you feel better soon. Your desk is very clean and I see lots of goodies layed in tiny piles.....have a fantastic week Hugs~Anne L#8

ReplyDeleteYou have done better at stitching two photos together than I can - I haven't got a clue where to begin. Your desk is all ready for action when you are feeling up to it.

Hi Lisa, thanks for an interesting snoop around your desk, the story of your week sounds very familiar to me! Hope your colds get better quickly and you get some time for cutting and sticking this weekend :o) Annie C #26
ReplyDeleteLovely scrap room you've got, Lisa - I was looking at your subsequent posts too! (Love the mother's day humour too lol!!) A nice busy and active desk, which is more than can be said for mine, but it has been a very busy week with all the baking! Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm sorry to be so long picking it up. I'm resting and recovering from such a busy week and only just catching up. We had a wonderful tea party and a good laugh and I forgot to photograph the table till it was too late! I plated up the leftovers today to photograph and will be blogging soon.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
