What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! Brought to you by Julia over at the
Stamping Ground.
Here is my desk today!
This is my latest stash. I was running low on flair. I was thinking of buying the Sew Easy tool, but I heard from a couple of people that they were not impressed with it. I did find a few more stitching templates and I hope to use them soon. The umbrella crafts had a special on their new dies - 7 nesting dies for $40, which was a deal too good to pass up. The TH phrase stickers are for making my WOYWW anniversary ATC swap. The cards will be similar but different.
This is my other ATC swap in progress. I have a few of these I'm working on.
If you'd like to swap with me, please leave let me know in the comments.
And last, but not least, my latest layout, a very simple layout. The purple vellum butterflies are 3 layers with the clear tak in between each wing layer. The title stickers are so thin, it almost get lost on the doily which is why the second one is on the other photo mat, to help it be seen.
So what's on your workdesk?
That page is beautiful, Lisa. Lovely colours, and so clear and un-fussy. Well done. Your desk looks like it would be great fun to come and play...lots to see, peek at, touch, play with.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Lovely stash - I'm checking out nesting dies myself as I think that it will be easier then measuring and cutting.
ReplyDeleteLove the scrapbook layout, she's a smasher.
Have a good week

Hi Lisa, it's often good to wait a while and get the 'real crafters' opinion of a product, rather than what the manufacturer wants us to believe! The dies were a great bargain, I agree, too good to miss. I'd love to swap ATC's with you. if you email me your addy( theres a link to my email in my sidebar). I'll send you mine. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #11 xx

Thanks for popping by my blog yesterday ... have emailed you back! Love your layout ... so pretty and fresh and I LOVE those little hummingbirds. My birthday cards for all my female friends and family this year have a hummingbird on them ... just the most lovely little birdies. Happy WOYWW'ing to you. Love Debbie xXx
ReplyDeleteOh and my getting ahead with my Christmas cards is something I have been vowing to do for YEARS ... I get so busy in the lead up to Christmas that I was getting myself in a right old tizz and it all became a chore rather than something I love to do. For a few years now I have been saying that I will get my cards made and stored away but this is the first time I have managed it! xXx
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful LO and I can't imagine how delicate those butterflies are ..... great job.

You got some interesting new stash to play with. I have the Sew Easy tool and several of the heads for it. I like it, but sometimes you do have to go back and hand pierce some of the holes in the pattern that don't go through. Blessings!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful layout! So pretty.
ReplyDeleteNever used the product before, but as Shaz says it is often worth seeing what crafters at the coal face make of a product.
ReplyDeleteLove the hummingbird stamp, not seen that one before.
Thanks for visiting my desk already,
Kyla
