Wait, what? That's not right! Monday's are for sharing!! They are. I meant to post first thing this morning. However, my almost 11 year old daughter has been dealing with health issues for over a year now. First issue was the skinny little mini was hypothyroid. Wouldn't have suspected that since that condition usually leads to weight gain. She was taken off of many foods as well. We saw some improvement and then a revert back. Also, her small issue with motion sickness turned into a horrible issue. It's 40-45 minutes to town. If she goes out even one day, she is sick for a week. I used to use an over the counter behind the ear liquid for long trips. Then the bands. Well, after she started having issues last fall, she ended up wearing the bands so long that she now can't take them. I started trying actual Dramamine a year ago March. It helped some, but then I was at the maximum dose and she is still sick for a week. Two weeks ago, with her PCP, we discussed trying the patch that people with motion sickness use on cruise ships. Yesterday was our first outing trying it out. She actually did fabulous until 2 am. We then had to get up. She ended up sleeping in my overstuffed chair, it's her favorite sleep spot when she is sick, and I slept on the couch. I ended up sleeping until 8. But with the lie in, I needed to start my chores as soon as I was up. As for my princess, she is actually feeling fine today!! HURRAY! I'm thrilled. We go to a neurologist in July to see if they can figure out the motion sickness issue.
That is the reason for the late post today. But I have 4 layouts to share today. I know, FOUR!! It's totally amazing.
My daughter in 2010. The date did make it to the label I just forgot to do it before the photo. And iNSD layout.
All other layouts are of my lovely great niece.
another iNSD layout
This one is for the
Scrap Our Stash Challenge. You had to use the book cover as inspiration plus use flowers. The book cover sunset over the water reminded me of this paper which is why I chose to use it. Now that I see it here, I think I should have added some small stamping to the area right under the totally. Otherwise I'm fairly pleased with it.
FAbulous layouts! It's amazing how many you got done! Thank you for joining us at Scrap Our Stash, your layout is just awesome!!
